It appears the whole Bigfoot Fiasco was a hoax. The 2 hikers from Georgia that claimed to have found a Sasquatch cadaver were apparently just out to make a quick buck, and a quick buck they made. Apparently they have run off with an undisclosed amount of money from Searching for Bigfoot, Inc the group that held the press conference on Friday. They had received an advance prior to the press conference.

During the forensic investigation the body was discovered to be a costume. The forensics team was in the process of thawing the frozen body for testing when they were finally able to get to one of the feet. When they reached in to grab it they discovered it was a rubber foot.

The CEO for Searching for Bigfoot, Inc was supposed to meet with the men to have them admit in writing that everything was a hoax. The two men never made the meeting and have disappeared.
